Reinstall CC Production Premium on a reinstalled Windows10 PC

Question

Due to a problem that could not be fixed, I needed to reinstall Windows 10 on a PC that already installed the second CC Production Premium during the 10 apps special prior to the cut off date. I already have the 10 apps special installation on my main editing PC. I also had Production Premium CS6 with Encore that is not included with CC.

I paid for CS6 and presently have a CC subscription paid monthly. How do I reinstall these?

I found the download from my past registered programs in my account. It gave me two choices, one a 7z file and the second an exe file. I started the 7z file that would take about 3 hours to download. From memory, I believe I was given choices when I downloaded CS6, one a total download and a second to download in sections.

1. What is the difference between the 7z and the exe downloads?

2. Is it possible to download in sections?

3. If downloaded at night with a service interruption, does the download continue where it left off?

1. the 7z are the compressed files and the exe is the extractor/decompressor.

use your cc app to install cs6, Install a previous version of any Creative Cloud application

make sure your cs6 serial number is secured so you can reinstall your cs6 perpetual license if, and when, you terminate your cc subscription.
