Reinstall of Adobe XD on Mobile Android device does not work

Issue:  An update from Adobe XD was not working.  So I uninstalled Adobe XD on my Samsung Android mobile device, using the inbuilt uninstaller.  Now I can not install a fresh copy of Adobe XD.  It just won't work.  I need it in order to view as close as possible the actual mobile experience on Android mobile.  Help - what can I do?  (p.s. I see help topics to unsinstall/reinstall for desktop, but nothing on mobile)
