Reinstalled photoshop elements 6 after upgrade to windows 8 but serial number no longer works.

Would like to know if anyone else has had similar issue and if so what did you do? Currently stuck with 30 day trial of my own software as serial number not accepted during software setup.

Tried the Adobe chat who sent me on a circular journey around their website but nowhere to get any help...

PSE 6 on Win 8? That in itself is a gamble. I wouldn't be surprised that this possibly won't work due to compatibility issues... Have you tried turning off al lsecurity stuff and running in compatibility mode?

The software works fine other than accepting the serial numbers.

No other compatibility issues seen do far.

Looks like the only way out is to by yet another version.

This will be the fourth to date.
