Hello there!

I have an issue with installing CS5.5 adobe premium. I recently got a new macbook and am not able to get it reinstalled again. I have had contact with adobe support they can't help me out. I have a macbook running on Sierra. My older laptop was working on Sierra as well.

It has been running on this computer briefly, because I reinstalled an old back-up on my new computer, because I got the message that my serialnumber isn't valid anymore. I can't even install it anymore on my old laptop with the original dvd. I have done the cleaner program. Nothing seems to work. Adobe has confirmed that my serialnumber is still valid.

The link I got from Adobe to do an install won't install the software because I get an error which says: You cannot install because you need to remove the diskcopy.

I am in the dark now already for 2 weeks to get everything to work on my new laptop. Please is there anybody who can help me out?!?

Correct answer Ned Murphy

Sierra is the culprit...

Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra)
