I'm attempting to reinstall my photoshop cs5 after my computer had to be completely rebooted due to computer failure. Now, when i put the disk in, nothing pops up or tries to install at all. How can i regain access to my photoshop?

you can navigate to your dvd using a file explorer and click setup.

    or download the installation files,

    Downloads available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

Thanks for the suggestions... nothing shows up at all on my computer or cd/dvd drive folder when the disk is in (and other disks have worked, so it's not the computer) so I downloaded from the installation files and it worked! thanks!

Are the files and the programs still on the disk?

If so, you could look inside one of the folders and find the OTHER Autorun program, and click on it. That was what worked when I had this problem (with CS4).
