Reloading program [Acrobat 8 is dead]

My hard drive crashed and I had to reload Acrobat 8 Pro. It loaded fine, but says it has to be activated within 22 days now. It won't activate and the "Help" desk said that Adobe no longer supported this product and would not help me. I don't care whether they support it or not, I just want to use it after 22 days! Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Hi @Wilora D16B8,

CS3 and Acrobat 8 are officially dead.  Even if you have an installer and valid serial number, you can never activate the software beyond it's trial period. The aged out activation servers were taken down many years ago.

It is no longer possible to activate Acrobat Pro 8.

I believe I saw someone post recently that you can still buy a perpetual license for the current version of Acrobat, but I'm not sure where/how to do it. You may have to contact Adobe Sales for that information.

Otherwise, your only option is to purchase a subscription.
