Question

Remove licence from old (destroyed) computer

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well. I am Semih. Acrobat Professional 12.0 Licence holder I installed my licence on a new computer. I get a licence verification error. The reason: because I did not remove my licence from my old computer, but my computer was destroyed.

The other computers are broken and destroyed, so the licences remain installed. Now when I want to install it on the new computer it says to remove the other licences first, but that's the biggest problem: there are no other computers!!!

Adobe can't help me with this because the support for this licence has expired and they referred me to this community. Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you, everyone.

I still haven't found any help on this issue. Adobe officials say we can't do anything. This is ridiculous. I can't use the product because I can't activate it and I paid for it, it's really ridiculous. I don't want to use an unlicensed product but adobe is forcing me to.

for all, you must use a computer with a current activation (that meets adobe's security requirements with updated os and updated default browser) and deactivate (open and app > help > deactivate) using that computer.  there are no other options as of early 2025.

We can't help, either. It's Adobe's responsibility to help you out. We are fellow users, just like you, and have no access to their internal systems or "tricks" to get around it.
