Removing old Adobe software

I'm running the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software on my iMac computer. I have older Adobe (5.5) software on my computer as well. What's the best way to completely remove the older 5.5 software while still ensuring that the newer CC software, and any related support files, is not affected in any way? Haven't used any of the 5.5 software in a long time. Do I simply run the uninstaller that is found in each of the 5.5 folders?

That's a wise decision. Keep, however, the discs and the serials handy. Just for the case that you need to go back. There are a lot of users claiming they have lost the DVDs and they do not find the old install disks anymore. I for my situation, I do not think that I will ever revert to the old software, even if compatible...

The uninstaller sounds fine... Anyhow, most of the old software will not run anymore with newer MacOS versions.

Thanks. Yes, I undersand. That's one of the reasons I'm removing older 32-bit software.
