Renaming problem in Catalina

When is Adobe going to fix the problem with doing a save as and changing the type of file that it is. Even though I go from jpeg to tiff the .jpg extension remains and I have to manually rename to .tif. Very annoying! This just started when I upgraded to Catalina.

      Why did you upgrade to Catalina when the problems with it are numerous and widely publicized?

      It is not Adobe's fault you upgraded your OS for no real reason.

       

      It is isn't broken STOP trying to fix it. Just my $0.02.

      Wondering where it was "widely publicized?" I had no idea the problems I would have working with InDesign.

      This happens with EVERY upgrade. Every experienced Mac user should know the hazards of early upgrading - certainly anyone professionally using their computer should know.

      The general rule is not to upgrade systems for a couple of months, unless you like the pain of early adopting. So it should probably be fixed (by Apple or Adobe, who knows which) within a couple of months.
