Repair Activation doesn't work via Akamai. Applications are gone.
I suddenly received an error message that I need to re-activate my software (CS3). I went to Adobe.com, received a new serial number, deinstalled CS3 as instructed, then downloaded and installed Akamai. During installation of Akamai, the new serial number was not required and installation was supposedly successful. But now all my programs (CS3) are gone!!!!! Reinstalling from the original disc produces the same error message.
