Request for reactivation of revoked CS6 license for artistic and heritage project

Dear Adobe Community,

I’m writing as a visual artist who has been using a legally purchased boxed version of Photoshop CS6 for many years, always installed from original media and activated using an official serial number. My work is highly specialized — I paint female nudes using handmade oil paints based on the techniques of the old masters.

Recently, after reinstalling Windows on a studio computer, I encountered a message saying my CS6 serial number had been revoked. I understand Adobe no longer supports this version, but since I own a physical copy with a legitimate license, I would like to request the possibility of reactivation.

This is not a casual use — my work is part of an ongoing international project on historic painting technologies, and some of the filters and tonal workflows I rely on (e.g. for platinum print emulation) exist only in the CS6+Silver Efex Pro environment. I am not asking for updates or support — only for the chance to keep using what I lawfully bought.

I am open to cooperation, verification of ownership, and any required formal declarations. Please advise me on how I can proceed or who to contact for individual case review.

Thank you in advance for your time and understanding.

Best regards,
Waclaw Wantuch

Hi,

This is a user support forum. We cannot restore license revocations.

Licenses are sometimes revoked when it comes to light that they have been sold in a way that breaks the license terms, e.g. by unscrupulous dealers hacking the software and selling multiple copies of the same license, or selling seats on a team/Enterprise license as individual licenses. Unfortunately those same dealers are unlikely to offer any support when the license is eventually revoked.
