Reverting to older Lightroom - from CC back to standalone?

Hi there!

Quite a few years ago I purchased Lightroom (on disc) but for the last two years have had a CC subscription. Now that I'm on leave from work, I'm trying to pare back expenses and just want to reintall the LR from disc, but don't have an optical drive. Lol, cheers Apple.

Is there a way that I can reinstall LR with the serial number I have, avoiding a new subscription for the short term with out a disc drive...?

Good times, thanks for reading.

If you have version 6, get the download site and install.

    https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-previous-version-apps-download.html

You must other Adobe ID use on install.

(When used for a subscription license, the information takes precedence.)

Do you have access to a different computer with an optical drive? If you have, you can copy the content to a stick and use that stick to install the software.

There is, however, the possibility depending on the age of your Lr and the age of the OS that you will have trouble installing the software.
