Ridiculously High Cancellation Fee

I decided to get a contract with Adobe for $43.99 a month on the Black Friday sales last year, all of a sudden the payments have now jumped up to $80 (I'd assume the original contract ran out) and the fact that it will cost me $430 to cancel my account in ridiculous and surely can't be legal (considering there was no prompt or anything for a renewal of any contract and it just automatically started up again)

per the above, there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
