Saving Update Files

I am using Adobe CS6 and am not interested in joining the cloud because I am a missionary that often doesn't have the best internet connections. Anyway, I would like to know how I can save the update files for CS6 applications to my computer. So that in case of a hard drive malfunction or some other computer problem and I would loose the current installation of CS6 with it's updates. I do own the program on disks, but if I had to reinstall it it would be the original version without the updates. I understand that Adobe does not intend to make new versions of creative Suite and will only upgrade on the Cloud. So my fear is that at some point they will no longer support CS6 and if I have a hardware problem, or change computers I won't be able to update my CS6 to the last updated version. Is there a way for me to download and save the updates? Thanks in advance

most updates roll-up the previous updates so you don't need to update to version 1.1 then 1.2 then 1.3 then... to update to 1.12.  you can just update with version 1.12.

but there are exceptions.

you should click the latest update listed.  you'll be taken to a page that explains something about the update and what version it will update. so, if you need to have version 1.11 in order to use the version 1.12 update, it will be explained on the 1.12 download page.

Thank you, that is at least a good start.

Just wondering... Are the updates incremental? In other words, would I need to install the updates one at a time starting with the oldest update and working to the latest? Or, would I only need to install the latest update for thie product and it would have all the updates in it?

Thanks
