Screen says "Now downloading" for Adobe After Effects but nothing EVER loads? Is this an Adobe gimmick? How can I know I want the product if they don't let you try it?

Adobe also does NOT have a chat option like its website claims. How can I get any answers to my questions? Does Adobe even have a customer service department?

If someone knows how to download trial version of After Effects, please email me at info@educorock.com.  I'm not even sure if this Forum exists or if it is bogus like Adobe customer support.

It's no secret, but it can play hard to get if you are not willing to try a few things....

For the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...

You might find you will have some luck getting your problem solved in the forums if you post in the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum and avoid all the extra discussion of your woes, disbeliefs, conspiracy theories and just focus on the problem you are having with the software.

Hi Ned. Thank you for your quick reply. I have tried for 2 days to find access to a "chat" option through Adobe "Learn and Support" (and even google) the only "chat support" available is outside sources that I would have to pay dearly to receive their advice. I think it's ridiculous that Adobe does not have it's own chat support. But, I understand you are saying it does indeed have a chat support. So, if you know the secret weblink to activate it, please advise.

I am not looking for product support, per se. I have not been able to download the demo (Adobe After Effects) to even get as far as to try it. I have tried to download the trial several times. The Creative Cloud icon is on my desktop but when I open it up, there is a sentence at the top of the screen that says "Now downloading..."   That was 2 days ago. I've tried uninstalling and re-downloading the trial, several time. Nothing works.

It is interesting to me that Adobe creates a Forum so people can help each other. I would just like to chat with someone from Adobe to simply get to try the demo to download.

As for my system, I'm not on my office computer. So, I'm not sure all the specs. But, I run some pretty powerful programs on it, so it is up to date and should have NO problems with a simple trial version of anything.

So, thanks for your time, Ned. If you know how I can access the Adobe secret "chat", please advise.

The forums work and the chat system works (with some patience) although support is not always provided for issues with trial versions.  For the download, make sure you are logged in to the Adobe site, have cookies enabled, clear your cookie cache.  If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

If you continue to have a problem and want help from the forums please provide more details regarding which version you are trying to download and details of your system.  Also include what actions you have taken and what the results/error messages were.
