Serial key not valid for installation of Cs5.5

Hi

I wonder if you can help me, please.

I have an old version of CS5.5 Creative Suite which I purchased in 2011. I registered this with Adobe at the time. I have recently purchased a new PC and am trying to reinstall it. I have got the serial key from the old regid file on the old PC and I have installed the trial versions on the new PC but when I put the key in it says it is invalid. I contacted Adobe chat who verified that I have a licensed copy but they told me that they no longer support CS5.5. I would be grateful for your help or advice on what I can do? Thanks very much

Is your serial number 6 groups of 4 numbers? (Do NOT post a number in a public forum)

Verify your number at https://account.adobe.com/products

CS5 came out a decade ago.  It's time to think about getting modern software that's compatible with new computers.

Student/Teacher and Volume Licensed editions are tied directly to the media you received at purchase.  You need to find your original installation disks or contact the vendor who sold you the software.

OPTIONS:

Photoshop or Premier Elements 2020 (approx $100, no subscription needed)

https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html

Creative Cloud Photography Plan (approx $10/month for 1 year subscription)

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography.html

Creative Cloud All Apps Plan (31 + apps & services)

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html

======================

Beware of fake Adobe reps who may contact you privately offering to sell you software or take control of your computer. It's a scam, run away!
