Serial Number CS5

Hello-

I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 at work, and I am currently the only one that has it on their computer.  Now the person in IT that downloaded CS5 onto my computer more than likely used their email address from work.  I need the Serial number because I am getting a new computer shortly and need to put the CS5 Im currently using onto my new computer.  Problem is the person that installed it no longer works for the company I work for. I have tried going internally into my computer to try and find a registration/license/sieral number but I have had no luck. What is the next step at locating the serial number so I can use adobe CS5 on my new computer.

    I may have found the Serial Number.  When I opened Adobe Photoshop CS5 I went to Help adn clicked on System Info, and located in their was a Serial Number.

    That might not be it though you could always try and see.  I too have a serial number where you say you found it but that is not the serial number I used when I activated the Creative Suite that Photoshop is a part of (CS6 in my case).  Since it appears right after the user name I have for my account on my computer I am thinking it might be related to my machine/system rather than the software.

    Thanks for letting me know Ned.  I tried the whole Serial Number look up on the Adobe Photoshop site, which is a link you currently have in your response, but when I log in there're no software purchases under my name.  Which is probably due to the guy in IT downloading it under his name here at work.  But he no longer works here.
