Serial Number Denied

I have had our desktop computer crash which had the adobe suite installed. We also have the suite installed on the  staff computer. My problem ius that now I am unable to resintall the suite back onto the desktop computer as the serial number thinks that two machines have it installed? How do I tell the new installed version that it is the second installed copy?
