I am trying to upgrade from Photoshop CS3 to CS5,but when I put the serial number in from the old version it says that its an invalid serial number. I tried to telephone for help, but the person I spoke to just said its an invalid serial number, but didn't say why or how to fix it! Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Is the CS5 upgrade for the same operating system as the original CS3 version--for example, both are for Windows? If not, you'll need to contact Customer Service. You might also try our chat support at http://adobe.ly/tuMwkC. You might need to provide a copy of the CS3 serial number or proof of purchase if not listed on your Adobe account.

If you properly registered the product, then you can check your account on the adobe website to see what serial number they have listed for your CS3.
