Serial number entry area

I purchased PS Elements 2024 and downloaded it. Next I needed to activate it. The instruction screen said to enter the serial number however my serial number is a long number but the activation screen only has 6 number slots.  I thought maybe it meant for me to enter the authentication code from the Adobe Account Access app that I installed on my phone ... however, that code does not let me in either.  I'm not sure what to do now. Would someone please help me?

 

The Help area does not address this that I can find.

    typo correction: it's 6 groups of 4 numbers, or 24 digits.
