Serial number invalid

I have just installed creative cloud and downloaded PS, AI, BR and ID. When I start I can activate my program, but my serial number is invalid. I get this message.

The serial number you have entered i s invalid. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

The number I have entered is correcet. How should i proceed?

    hi frafoss,

    With Creative Cloud the subscription is activated with your Adobe ID & Password It doesn't need a serial key.

    That is not correct.

    When I start the program I have the option to choose trial version or authorize the program. When I choose to authorize the program I am asked to log in with my Adobe-ID and then to enter serial number. When I enter my serial number found in my Adobe pages, I get the message that serial number is invalid.

    It is correct - the messages on your screen from the Cloud activation mechanism are wrong and are misleading you.

    Creative Suite (non-Cloud) software is activated via a serial number.

    Cloud software is activated via your Adobe ID. There is no serial number for Cloud software and it should not be asking you for a serial number - even though that is what you're seeing due to apparent flakiness in the Cloud activation mechanism.
