Serial number issue

My serial number from my single user CS5.5 Design Premium is not accepted to upgrade to a multiple user license for CS6 Master Collection that my company wants me to use.

Why not? It's listed in the drop down as a valid option (CSe5.5 DP) is this a single user vs. multple user issue?
