Question

serial number issue

Embarassingly basic query:

In March, I bought student/teacher CS 5.5.  My old mac book pro has a video card that is permanent, thus foiling my best laid plan to upgrade.  So, this week I bought a new MBP, and am getting serial number issues when I try to download from the disk.  I cannot find Premiere Pro on the old hard drive to migrate over...so where is Premiere Pro, and how can I load it on the new machine?

I have never actually used the Premiere software, on the old or any other machine.

I have a review in three hours and I would dearly like to show a Premiere Project to my seminar.

Thanks

It was probably never installed because your system did not support 64bit. That aside its a moot point - you just cannot "migrate" or copy Adobe apps from one system to another. That only leaves you with defunct programs. They need to be installed properly under any circumstance. The rest is not really relevant - since you didn't bother to tell us exactly what issues you are having with your serial, we can only give you the slightly stupid stock answer: Contact support, which is probably what you will have to do, anyway....
