"Serial number revoked" message when trying to activate the trial version of Lightroom. [was:Graham]

I have tried to install lightroom on my new computer. I have a legal serial number from my previous computer and have checked it in my
Adobe account but when I enter it I get a message " Serial number revoked".

I am running Windows 10 pro and have downloaded the 64 bit version as a trial but the above happens if I try to activate it permanently.

Hawkeye I am sorry but I show that you requested a refund on 5/11/2015 for your order of Lightroom 6. The serial number registered under your account was cancelled as part of the refund process. For your reference the case number from the refund request was 0215578250.

Not at any time did I request a refund. In addition I have never used the name "hawkeye" or Hawkeye57. I have always been registered as <Removed by Moderator> and my financial records do not show any refund from Adobe. When I log in and go to My cases the case number you quote does not appear. Prior to my changing computers the software was still working, surely if I had been given a refund this would not be the case. Cleary an administration error is play here. All I have done is to swap computers. I would really like this issue resolved quickly.

I would also recommend referencing case number 0215578250 as it provides complete details, and transcripts for a request for a refund of Lightroom 6 due to not having a 64-bit operating system available to you.
