I am trying to open elements 11 on a mac osx 10.6.8 and it says it can only open with win32 which is not compatible. Please help.

what file extension does the downloaded file have?

it says .exe

That means you've got (via download I presume) the Windows version which cannot be installed on a Mac.

Go to the Adobe website and download the Mac version (.dmg file extension).

Then it will work.
