Shameful perfomance by Adobe this year
Sometimes i wonder why i bought the CC subscription instead of all the others out there pirating it. Oh wait! Yes, the service and constant updates. But no, service is crap, and updates don't work.
Just had a 2 hour round with Photoshop CC 2015.2 where it was extremely laggy and virtually unusable. I couldn't update it because of an error (117). I had this problem about a month back, to which i decided to CC clean the entire system and reinstall, only to realize that i could now install up-to 1 (one) application completely before the next started crying and failing. Then, i started uninstalling and reinstalling only creative cloud each time i wanted to update an application.
Now, i can do the same thing with photoshop and illustrator (the two that i rarely use and didnt really need an update to right now), but then i wonder. WHAT AM I PAYING FOR!?! I could have gotten these up and running in 5 minutes with a pirated copy (or so i hear and am mocked about by some colleagues).
Now i;m pretty sure that the admin is going to remove the pirated parts of this post, but that just speaks for the service - Dont solve the problem, mask it.
The 117 error is not because of my internet connection, as the apps seem to update fine when CC is uninstalled and reinstalled, so please dont try to go there.
I have 2 different intel machines with different configs, 1 laptop, and a AMD machine. Same issue on ALL OF THEM! Again, it works after uninstall and reinstall for one (or two at most) app per uninstall, so its NOT the internet.
I wish adobe had more drive.
