Hi eclayton18,

It's recommended to uninstall the older version before installing the new software if you dont intend to use the older version.

But if you want to use both versions you can install and have both on the same machine.

Thank you so much. If it dosn't hurt I'll use both version for now. Do you think I can safely uninstall Photoshop Elements 10 after I use 11 for a wile?

Yes, You can uninstall Photoshop Elements 10 later safely from Add/ Remove Programs
