Question

Signed out of CC when I open Photoshop or Illustrator

I've had sign-in loop issues relentlessly for the last few months. I've removed and re-installed enough times to make your head spin. Following each of the guides online, the explicit directions from multiple Adobe support people. Nothing has worked.

I'm using XD no problems, about 1-2 minutes after opening Photoshop or Illustrator (not tested on InDesign or others) I get signed out. I can sign back in but it doesn't matter as all my fonts are now conflicted and I need to close everything, sign out of my Windows account, sign back in and load everything up again.

Nightmare indeed.

I've immediately created logcollector files after the last two instances, I've tried to open them up and make heads or tails of them but they are beyond me.

Anyone have any experience with reading these? (Looking at you Adobe)

Would really like to solve this before I get fed up and move to other tools.

Thanks! !

On further investigation it seems this only occurs on my home network and not my work network. Any ideas around what might be causing this on a network level?

with the problematic network confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

do you see both logos?

if you can and still see a connection error, white list the adobe network endpoints, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html

I've tested this page before as well, yes I can confirm both logos and pong on both home and work connections.

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

Delete the entire contents of the OOBE folder*

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

* your OOBE folder location:

C:\Users\<user folder>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

Note: The AppData is hidden with Windows default settings. google Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions | Windows for instructions to show it or check https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html.
