So tired of the constant hassles with CC

Adobe CC has become a feeble PITA.

It's already hard enough to deal with clients, compliance, taxes, paperwork, making enough to pay the bills, etc... without having to fight my tools constantly.

Even if they were half the price, Adobe CC PS and AI are getting to the point where they are not worth the hassle anymore. I live in a place where I don't have great internet, and so I can't always just reinstall the app. I have a powerful machine that runs my resource hungry CAD and design software just fine, but Adobe products are constantly crashing and glitchy. Even after getting everything fixed and back up and running, a month later and "NOPE!" it all crumbles again and I lose more work hours and actual work to some new bug.

Just make it run reliably, make it bulletproof as possible, and LEAVE IT ALONE! I want ROBUST not feeble!

I used to love Adobe, and in fact I tried to get clients and collaborators who insisted on freeware and pirated crap to pony up for what I thought was a quality product. Now I am embarassed that I did that.

I'm looking into alternatives and even though it's going to be a PITA, I will be getting off of Adobe as soon as possible.

Photoshop and Illustrator are extremely stable applications. What are your system specs? Are you running too many apps at once?

They USED to be. Not anymore. I can't even get AI to open succesfully on the first try. It takes a minimum of 3 attempts to open ot to get it to open.

Re: number of apps open: It's not that ( I think). It happens regardless of whatever else is running (aside from normal background processes).
