Software verification failure

I recently enrolled in an online graphic design program with a university and was given an access code for installation for photoshop software, but ran into a problem when trying to set up and install. I got a notification that the product I was trying to install is not an Adobe Genuine Software and appears to be counterfeit... Trying to figure out who to go to for this. Academic advisor listed adobe support as available resource.

Are you using an Adobe download link, or one provided by your school?
