^That's the message I get when I try to install CS6 on my new laptop. It's an Aspire V 15 Nitro with Windows 10. I had the Production Premium on my old computer, so now I'm trying to download it onto this new one. Had to do the internet download since the new machine doesn't have a CD drive. Took a few tries to start the installer - it wanted me to reboot a couple times before it would do it but eventually got that going, then got the "some items not installed successfully" error. It says it didn't install Photoshop, Premiere, Flash, or Illustrator, but when I go to my programs, I seem to have and be able to run everything except Premiere.  I tried to pull up the error summary... and got an "error- file not found" web page. Also, not sure if it's related, but I'm encountering similar issues installing Autodesk Maya. I really appreciate any ideas about what might be going on here.

-also, only CURRENT products will be tested and updated for compatibility with Windows 10

-so if you have an older program, you update to Windows 10 at YOUR risk of problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

An idea that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10... works for some, not for others

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)
