Some Quick Advice Please Re. Uninstalling Old Versions

Hi Guys

Can someone advise me please? I still have PPr/ Ae/ Au/Ps/Dr CC2017 versions on a Win10 machine and I want to uninstall that version. I have seen the instructions for the uninstall tool. It says uninstall first from the Windows Control Panel and then run the Adobe tool. Is that really the best way? I had it in mind I just ran the uninstall tool from when I uninstalled a while ago. I obviously want to ensure I leave nothing on the PC.
