SPARK QUESTION: Can I add a music player/playlist to a newsletter project?

Hi everyone,

My company has a monthly newsletter that we all contribute content to. For next month's issue, a coworker and I had the idea to include a Halloween playlist. Is it possible to add a music player to a Spark project? Like actually having the playlist within the newsletter and not just a button with a link to say Spotify for example.

This is a very old topic from 2018.

As of 2021, Spark does not have a stand alone music player or support for playlists, sorry.

Adobe Spark supports audio playing in the background of video pages but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

Can I add a music player/playlist to a newsletter project? I am creating a newsletter that will have a playlist of songs at the end. Is it okay to use a player from a music site, or do I need to build my own?

Even if you could, there might be some copyright & royalty issues if you don't own the media. ASCAP is fiercely protective of their members.

It's not a public project, only distributed to those on our team, nor is it monetized. So I don't see how this would be an issue. Unless there's something against that as well.
