Splitting double page captures (TIFFS) into single pages?

I am currently using a microfilm scanner to auto-scan 35mm roll film. All the original material was filmed as double page captures. I am saving all captures in TIFF format. The scanner software is rudimentary and doesn't have a lot of versitility. The project requires the double pages to be split into single pages but I can't find any software that would do this especially in large batch format. Searched high and low but most software seems to deal with PDFs and not graphic formats. Can anyone suggest a function within any of the Adobe products to do this or some other method?
