My laptop has been stolen and along with it my CS5 suite / registration. How can it be de-activated on my stolen laptop and then made available for when I get a replacement laptop/Mac?

As it was a PC, if I replace with a Mac will I be able to use the software....?

Please advise, nightmare

Sorry to hear about that. But you need not worry about using your software on your replacement machine.

1. It'll be a good idea to get in touch with Adobe Support for Activation. Just keep your Serial number and Proof of Purchase handy when you get in touch with support.

2. For platform switch see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405819.html .

The license will be invalidated server-side, so that other person probably won't enjoy it that long... Do as already suggested and contact support asap.
