Question

Stop adobe acrobat from asking to reactivate

Hi,

My company is a closed system. So when I need to activate Adobe Acrobat Standard 11 I open up the firewall for that IP and activate. However, Adobe keeps asking to reactivate after a few weeks over and over. Is there any way I can stop that?

Thanks,

Mike

if you have an cc subscription, no:

The software installs locally on your computer. It's unnecessary to be online to use your Acrobat Pro XI subscription. Access to the Internet is required during installation and licensing of your software and once every 30 days thereafter. The software alerts you when a connection to the Internet is required for a license status check. You have access to the software as long as your subscription is current.

Thanks a lot for the response kglad! I'm aware that we can still use it if the subscription is current. However, my company has over 300 employees, so it is a hassle to open people up to the internet every 30 days, with completely different timeframe. My question is any chance I can stop the license status check at all?

Thanks.

not without violating your tos.  that's the only way adobe has to check if your subscription is current and you should be allowed to continue to use your cc app(s).

there may be a way to coordinate your companies activation checks though to minimize the it hassles.  whoever is in charge of the volume license should contact their liaison.
