Stop auto update

Hello! How can I stop auto update of CC? I would like to activate update only when required. Currently CC does not allow me to open files if there is some update option. This severely impacts my work schedule. I would like to know how to deactivate upgrade option.

  • In your CC window, click on the 3 dots in the upper right and select Preferences
  • Click on Creative Cloud on the top row
  • Click on Apps on the second row
  • At the bottom, uncheck Enable Auto-Update

That should do it.
