Stop removing Photoshop 2021

I have uninstalled photoshop 2022 , and downloaded photoshop 2021 three times, because ONLY photshop 2021 works on my computer. The next day I find that photoshop 2022 was again automatically installed and 2021 removed, so again it doesn't work.  Doing this over again every time I need photshop is very time consuming.

Is there some way to STOP photoshop 2022 from being re-installed automatically, or should I just bite the bullet, get rid of photoshop, and start using Capture One Pro?

45allways, what type of Creative Cloud membership are you using?  If you have an individual membership, then please make sure auto-updates are turned off by following the steps listed in https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Yay. I turned off the automatic update, and that along with some help from an Adobe rep got it working. Thanks.
