I want to have something to show for my money. Please go back to selling your programs and stop the rental scam! It's a slap in the face to the customers who made you so successful!

The Adobe CC is like All-You-Can-Eat restaurant, if you only eat a bread and go home, you still have to pay the same dollar as the guy who can eat bunch of steak.

I lived in Indonesia, a country where Graphic Designer almost can use all of Adobe or even Autodesk application. For the professional, it is looks cheap, because you can earn more. But for people who wants to learn the program and make money from it, the price is out of budget (since the common graphic designer income too small in this country), so, sadly they prefer to use the pirate version.

I'm lucky because I got special price after became a teacher (I saved 90% cost) and still can subscribe and get all of Adobe apps. If I have to pay full, I will out of budget. So, the options like pay per month is OK for me. But, if Adobe can decrease the price, it will make us happier.

The Creative Cloud presents a great option for some.  It has allowed me to "dabble" with any piece of CC software that I choose.  If I wanted to do that and "own" every piece of software, as-is, for the life of my machine, and one subsequent generation of machine, I would likely pay-up-front, and that figure would likely be in the thousands.  If I am buying a new machine-say a 3D printer-and spend 10,000 dollars for all that its capable of, it would be nice to have an affordable way of leveraging any software that may contribute to, or benefit from, the use of my 3D printer.  If I buy a Microsoft HoloLens and want to make 3D websites, edit 3D photos, and prepare 3D videos, all while easily creating lighting and other effects, It would be nice to have software that I could afford to work with the addition to my hardware system.  In my modest opinion, that makes the Creative Cloud subscription a great option.  Especially for someone in school.  With such lofty goals.

I will note that the Creative Cloud installer page was hard to find.  I was taken there back when I first activated my subscription.  When I wanted to put it on my laptop, it wasn't clearly linked on the products page with the rest of the software.  I ended up looking through the history on my desktop.  The URL was easy to remember, so I entered it on my laptop.  And there it was.  The one little tool that I can use to add or remove every other awesome tool on my laptop.  That's the closest I've had to get to doing things "the hard way".  Creative Cloud's team is taking care of the rest, so I can focus on organizing, creating, and analyzing, distributable content.

I appreciate the response. That is a good point.

I strongly feel the vast majority of those paying the 49.99 membership fee

more than likely are not going to utilize all the provided software. After

Effects, InDesign, Dreamweaver are not like learning Microsoft Word. For

students, sure, but at least offer the choice of owning. Usually those who

concentrate in one program, may pull elements from another, but to use all

or most of is rare and does not justify making everyone pay for it. Just my

opinion.

thank you....

My creative cloud payment came out of my bank account today... $63.79 :-( I use to pay $49.99 per month... I guess it went up. Very disappointing. I can't afford it so looks like I'm going to have to down size. I only use Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. But I like having the option to use the other programs even though I never have. :-(
