Stuck in a product registration loop with Lightroom 6

I purchased the desktop version of Lightroom (6) when it was still available.  I use it on a Mac running High Sierra.  Out of nowhere, I can’t access the software anymore.  When I try, it takes me to the Adobe Application Manager app and ask me to register the product.  I use the key provided upon purchase and it only gets me back to the same “sign in” window from the Adobe Application Manager, a perpetual loop.

I spent hours looking for solutions through Adobe help and forums.  All I can find brings me back to the Creative Cloud.  I don’t wish to start using the Creative Cloud.  I’m also scared to loose anything related to my photos in the process (trying solutions), such as all the adjustments or the way they are organized in my library.

Searching the forums, what seems to be solutions lead me to pages “no longer available”.  I also tried to download the latest Adobe Application Manager and I just can’t find it.  I believe it’s been replaced by the Creative Cloud Installer but again, I’m not using the Creative Cloud and I don’t wish to.

I have so little spare time.  I have a day job, a 3-month old baby and 10,000 photos to process on my spare times (contracts) and clients legitimately impatient keep asking for their album every single day.  I was completely overwhelmed before this issue came up.  I am going crazy.

This is obviously not a viable option but thanks for the suggestion.

I spent 14 hours trying to fix the issue with Adobe through various means.

I managed to learn that my license was revoked but they can't tell my why.  I never shared my serial and only used it twice since purchase.  The license being revoked, the Adobe Application Manager prompts to register the license.  Because the installer runs in 32 bits, technically I can't use it succesfully.  As a result I'm locked out of the software and I can't work.

Rather than issuing or reactivating my license, I've been told that I have to pay for the latest version of Ligthroom at a discount.  I asked about the discount and I got complete silence.  And even if my license was reactivated, the 32 vs 64 bit is an impass.  Therefore what I need is my license to be reactivated and assistance to register the license without the use of the Adobe Application Manager.  Means to activate license offline exist and I serioulsy doubt that no one at Adobe can do it.

The revoking of my license is not an outcome of persisting to use an outdated software, it comes from Adobe.  Everything worked fine before and now I am pressed to purchase a new product.  This is an illegal commercial practice.
