Question

Subscription Renewal Error Message for CS6?

I originally downloaded CS6 in 2012. Earlier this year, my hard drive crashed and I subscribed to Creative Cloud services. I then was able to recover my CS6 programs because I still had the product key, and cancelled my creative cloud service. Now, opening any of the CS6 programs tells me that I need to renew my subscription even though I shouldn't need a subscription to open CS6 programs. I have contacted Adobe about 5 times for this and there has been no help given, and I am extremely frustrated, because CS6 was expensive and it shouldn't be my fault that I chose to buy it before they switched over to cloud services. Please, if someone could help me I will owe you so much!

See if the following discussion helps:

How do I prevent Creative Cloud from taking over my CS6 perpetual license?

I have already cancelled my Creative Cloud subscription, so I'm not sure what I should do in this case.

Have you tried using the Cleaner Tool?  Try uninstalling all Adobe products and then run the Cleaner Tool.  Hopefully when you reinstall and attempt to reactivate things will work out properly.  Before attempting the activation you might also try contacting Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations... just to make sure they are available and not lost in the various installation efforts.
