Suggestion: A la Cart packages starting at $9.99

I had to cancel my subscription today because it was getting too expensive. You have this creative cloud where we have access to all of your products yet you limit us with packages that don't cater to the individual. I recommend Adobe start an Ala Cart package. Get rid of the other crappy packages and just have three options including Ala Cart.

Option 1 - A la Cart starting at $9.99

Option 2 - All Cloud Apps at $56.99

Option 3 - All Cloud Apps at $644.99 or however much it cost for the year.

It's simple business really. If users use less than 5 apps, they can use A la Cart option for $9.99 per program. And if they use 5 or more... just go with Option two or three. Adobe has fallen into the world of being on top; and knowing they can do whatever they want and forces us to go along with it because it's the standard product most of us use.

Great idea... , however, Adobe has the à la carte solution. Unfortuneatly it is more expensive than what fits your budget. The à la carte service is at 20$ per app, bringin the break even to 3 apps. There are no other “packages” except the photography plan for incredible 9.99...

As this is the only plan that was introduced as an exception very early with the subscription model, it tells me, that this plan was needed to keep photographers on board. All others seam not to have a need for special packaging.

I suppose that Adobe makes bery expensive market studies to know the price-pain points of its users. Ass with all, the price is a mix of what Adobe would like to ask for and what the customers are able to pay for.

If you look at the subscription model and you compare that with the former buy/upgrade model, you will soon find out, that the subscription model is based on the former upgrade price, making the initial buy of the products obsolete.

In addition, there is a highly interesting month to month model, if you need a software 3 times a ear for 2month each. firmerly you needed to buy (if you did not have the afully expensive Master Collection...).

The subscription model works incredibly well, as we (my company) added 50% more licenses then we had before, because of this model.

A price may be to high for someone, but then you need to look at your needs. Do you really need the top tools? I do own an iPhone but I do not own and never owned the top model. The same with my iPad (even that I wish, I would have acquired the 12” version of the iPad pro...).

Unfortuneatly for you, Adobe did set the break even at 2+ applications, knowing that the average user would use 3 applications. Only the advantage with this system is that you may try different apps and may be do a project in one or the other.

Actually, did you know that you CAN get an a la carte subscription. $10/month for Photoshop, $20/month for any other single app (annual commitment). Of course if you get any three, an all apps subscription is 3, but if you need 3 you are a typical user, not some low volume user to get a special deal...

I think you are assuming that it is aimed st people who want and use 30 apps so it’s unfair for you to pay so much for less. But nobody uses all apps. The typical Pro uses 3 apps regularly, maybe 4. Others occasionally.

Youre making the “all you can eat buffet” error. If an all you can eat buffet adds more dishes, it doesn’t get cheaper becsuse you dont feel like eating all of them.

This is a public forum with "some" Adobe staff participation, use the links below to make a report or request

However... people have been asking for this since virtually the first day of the subscription process, and it hasn't happened
