Question

Surface GO cannot install Adobe Creative Cloud

When I try to install creative cloud on this device it tells me that only Microsoft store apps can be installed the way the GO is setup.  Creative cloud is not listed in the Microsoft store.  Has anyone run into this issue?

The Surface Go is a lovely thing, but it's a low end tablet, not suited to running high power professional apps like Creative Cloud. There's probably not enough storage space, barely enough RAM. But the specific reason you cannot install Creative Cloud (and find it unusable) has been mentioned. It runs Windows 10 S, as advertised, and that limits you to only Micrsoft's app store: the great majority of apps are not there. You can turn off S mode, but it makes the tablet less secure, and I don't recommend it unless you fully understand the implications. Certainly not to try running Creative Cloud, it will only disappoint... https://www.windowscentral.com/surface-go-how-unlock-windows-10-s-mode

I downloaded from adobe website and had issues because on the surface pro, you must turn off tablet function when installing otherwise you will get error messages.  I went to the Microsoft store because I Could not complete installation of  illustrator.  Got this resolved in minutes.  You don’t have to use App Store, you can get apps directly from internet.

Sounds like you're running Windows 10 in S mode. You need to switch out of S mode.
