Question

System Error when launching any CC app?

I've had CC for almost a year, now. Everything has been working quite nicely.

The other day I got notification that there were 3 updates, which I gleefully installed.

Now, whenever I try to launch any of my CC apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver are the ones I use most), I get the system pop-up:

illustrator: Illustrator.exe - System Error

The program can't start because MSVCP110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I click OK, the error appears a second time, then a third, and then the app launches successfully (and appears to be fully functional).

I'm running Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit), and have all manner of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable libriaries showing in my Programs and Feature list, and if I search for MSVCP110.dll it absolutely does exist (in C:\Windows).

Since the program seems to run, the error is more just an annoyance, but it's getting pretty frustrating.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Or anyone know of a fix?

Thanks!

    See the following:

    Thanks Ned.

That was perfect. The first option fixed it for me.

Odd that I came up with nothing when I was Googling about the issue... or even searching the forums here. Oh well.
