What happens if I try to install Photoshop Elements 7 at a computer having a 1,66 GHz processor (Intel Core 2 Duo T5450) ?

Will it work ? - without problems ?

    Hi Jorgen,

    Welcome to the Community!

    Here are the system requirements:

    • 2 GHz or faster processor
    • Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or 3 or Windows Vista
    • Certified for 32-bit version of Windows
    • 1 GB of RAM
    • 1.5 GB of available hard-disk space
    • Color monitor with 16-bit color video card
    • 1024 x 768 monitor resolution at 96 dpi or less
    • Microsoft DirectX 9 compatible display driver
    • CD-ROM drive
    • Web features require Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or 7 or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 through 3.x

You can try and install the software and it should install however processor needs to be upgraded.

    Thanks!

    Thank You for rapid reply.

    1)

Does it mean, that I have to exchange my processor ?

I know the the system requirements from the un-opened package, but hoped,

that I - nevertheless - perhaps could use it. (Maybe just working slower)

    2)

Will any other (simple) Photoshop- version work without "rebuilding" my

    computer ?

    Kind regards, Jørgen Heidemann
