I have an old Mac Power PC G5 Desktop. I wanted to buy Photoshop CS6 but, if I understand correctly, neither it nor CS5 will run on my machine. Is that true?

How about CS4? If I buy it, will that one deign to launch on my antique?

Not really. The last truly PPC version was CS3. CS4 only carried that part to not annoy customers, but a lot of it already ran via Rosetta emulation.
