Hello! I want to purchase a subscription to the program Adobe Illustrator. In the future I plan to use other programs. Question: would it be possible to extend membership, without waiting for the end of the year?
I am not sure what you mean by extend, but if you mean you wish to change your plan to involve more applications then you can usually get help with that thru Adobe Customer Support.
Normally a subscription will automatically renew - it is more the case that you need to be mindful to cancel it when the time comes, otherwise you can end up spending for a subscription you did not intend to continue.
