The Installation stop and says my product is counterfeit but it isn't

I bought a new iMac and I want to move my licenses from Mabook to iMac.

I bought the Creative Suite 6 DS directly from The Core Group, they are the sole distributors of Mac in South Africa, so I am quite confident that my CD set is not counterfeit.

iMac does not have a DVD drive, so I am running the CD from a share drive from the Macbook

I deactivated the production on the Macbook.

During the installation in the iMac (from the CD in the Macbook) the process stops and complains that the software is counterfeit.  I am using the correct serial number as was published on the original product.
