You can not use this product at the moment. To correct this problem, uninstall and reinstall the product or contact system adim or Adobe support to get help.

(sorry.. its in French)

..........since this message I have :

rebooted twice

tried working/opening CS3 whilst 'offline' (unplus internet)

uninstalled all Adobe soft

tried to reinstall CS3 premium (just 4 mostly used programmes)

Sorry...

I didn't actually ask a question...

Can anyone give me an idea as to why this software doesn't work anymore after 5years of no problems ! ?

You are not alone and neither was I.  CS3 did this to me a few years ago and I felt helpless to resolve it since Adobe purports to no longer provides support for CS3.  So I hunted thru Google and wherever I could and ended up eventually finding some things that led me to solving the problem.  The best I can do is offer the links I saved from that effort and wish you luck resolving it...

Reinstall CS3 - when normal fails

Hello there Ned,

I looked through both your above posts... I read carefully and tried my best to follow. But I am no computer expert.. I have no experience of searching out files and deleting stuff. I like simple - Buy, Install, use peacefully... which is how it was 5 years ago !

I don't understand why and how its all gone wrong between a morning of working normally and all this hassle straight after.

Is it possible that Adobe does something to push you to buy the latest version or subscribe to the cloud ?

WHY do you get a message out of the blue that something you PAID for no longer works how it should ?

This version will not install on the other computers in the office as they are not XP or Vista !

I feel like I am being forced to upgrade when I was quite happy !
