The new update wont install.

The new update wont install. ( it says there is a problem with some file called spill.aex ) ..

I tried removing after effects to reinstall but that doesnt work either so now I cant get to after effects at all.

FIXED IT!

I changed the name of the effects map which included the broken file. ( still cannot delete the file itself :/ but atleast after effects is working again! )

Hi yunak95018516,

please do a clean uninstall of AE first by downloading the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool from here:

» Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Then, re-install AE. Make sure that you run the installation as Administrator.

Hint: Adobe recommends to temporarily turn off any surfing restrictions you might have running, like
site or cookie blocking, filtering, firewalls or antivirus software.

If none of these suggestions works, please let us know!
